Always, always, trust your intuition. It will never lead you astray. The more you trust it, the more you'll hear it, the better off you'll be. And even if things fuck up and suck, you have the comfort in knowing Knowing that you did exactly what you believed was the right thing, because you listened to your Self. And Knowing that is the only way to avoid regret.

You can trust your inner voice. It's not the one that tells you what you want to hear. It's the one that tells you stuff you wish you didn't have to hear. Often, in direct opposition to what you want to do. The one that reminds you of things you'd rather not remember.

But it's also the one that loves you unconditionally and will always be working for your Highest Good. It's the one that affirms your perception of reality, so you can learn to trust your perceptions. It's the one that let's you discern others' motivations. It's the one that helps you stand back up when you've been knocked down, and the one that keeps you moving when you can't remember how to crawl, let alone soar. It's the One. It's YOU.

And You are the most beautiful place in the Universe.

Thanks. I've been dealing with intuition being down for the count lately, and strangely enuf it's up and running again once I've left this job I hate.

so thanks for the affirmation.

I found this on the random journal button, and it was pretty much exactly what I needed to hear. Do you mind if I add you?

And I only randomly made it public... how could we argue with that? Please feel free!

That's what is called "serendipity" - you are very lucky to have stumbled here! Also, I love your icon.

Amen sister.

And I would add, the more you trust and follow your intuition? The louder and clearer it will speak to you in the future. If your intuition believes that it will be valued and heeded, it becomes much less shy about asserting itself...

Yes, it becomes Thee distinctive voice, drowning out the bad brain tapes and whoever else's voices are in there.

I wonder if my mind gets in the way of my Mind, though. (What I think is intuition is really just pessimism and fear).

I have a similar problem. I over analyze and try to see things from so many angles that it's hard to know what's intuition and what is a bunch of doubts.

See, I over analyze and then just go with my gut anyway. :) For me, doubts and Fear are always very loud, demanding voices. Intuition is a quiet, persistent voice. If I can clear away all of the distracting HEY HEY HEY of Fear, my true voice is usually right there waiting for me to hear it.

Try to think of a time when you heard it, knew you'd heard it, followed through with it and had that knowledge confirmed. When I'm unsure if the voice is my intuition or one of those hoary personal demons, I think back to an instance when I absolutely knew. Then I can usually recognize it.

Also, I know that when I just can't decide something, when I vacillate or procrastinate, I take that as a sign that I haven't tuned into right voice yet. Usually it means I've neglected to see another choice, or I just don't have the right answer yet and I should pause.

Yesterday I gave in to my intuition that my husband had some carbon monoxide poisoning after spending the day in the shop. I took him to the E.R. at 6 a.m. and while he has a raging inner ear infection, his carbon dioxide levels were high, which certainly had influenced on the dizziness, nausea, vomiting and disorientation. He is not seriously harmed, or ill.

I am so glad I trusted my gut -- and your reminder the other day, made me stop and listen to it, instead of letting him wait until the clinic opened at 8.

Hi again! I added you back and then looked at your interests and thought I should maybe warn you that I talk alot about our homesteading endeavors including raising, slaughtering and butchering our own meat, plus all other food we grow and how I cook it. I usually tag and label butchering posts with my special meat icon, but if that's going to bother you I won't be offended if you decide to unfriend me.
