Or off n running, whatever. I'm off for the rest of the week to paint but my allergies are causing me so much misery I need to avoid being outside if I can, so inside chores/mommy-in-charge for me. Today: clean out the attic.

Sorry, that was too funny. Ok, clean a PATH in the attic, namely the multiple bags of toys that have been squirreled away up there. I wonder if the girls can actually help me sort and give most of those away or if it will just be an exercise in torture. This is our semi-annual Toy Round Up! I will post pictures later as a tribute to Crass Materialism and the Cancer of Commercialism in Modern America.

Tomorrow I will paint the inside wall, assuming I can figure out a color for that and then Friday? It remains to be seen. But we have happy plans for the weekend so I want to use Friday for work.

This BEFORE includes what's just been in their room, plus about 6 bags of toys that got jammed in the attic before Christmas. That orange dot is Sofie, for scale.






And with as much help as toddlers can be, we have 5 bags to donate, 2 bags of just plain garbage and 1 bag to go back in the attic. And it's only noon.







Since my crew and I are so efficient we are taking a break for cuppatea. The attic stairs are still down, what else can we sacrafice to the Urge To Purge??
