Miscellaneous Excellence

• No news is good news!


• We have peach faced love birds and they're surprisingly unannoying and very beautiful. They shriek when the girls do.


• The chickens (or possibly 1 chicken?) are/is laying eggs! We've had 3 so far. These are our first since the Terrible Easter Massacre.


• The Zebra finch's babies have gone to market (mmm) and they are busy rebuilding their nest. The Shaft Tailed finches laid a clutch but didn't get them hatched. Better luck next time Shafties!


• Sofie will be in a recital.


• Spanish midterm today, half way done to GRADUATION!


• I'm getting the hang of making my own seltzer. Next up: giant CO2 tank attached to the faucet.


• Soup night ROCKS.


• Upcoming visitations: The Hula for Thanksgiving, L'amandita for December's Soup Night and our most favorite Montrealler for my birthday?? Life is good!


• Getting excited about The Holiday Season.


• GOING TO THE HOSTEL THIS WEEKEND!! The girls are psyched for "camping" because that means marshmallows.


• Mander's dreads are so cute. (I know I know, pictures... soon, maybe, ask my mom how good I am at this.)


• Loving having a steady supply of Comforts to make!


• Wine.


• My new sofa!!! Oh my gosh, it's the DREAM sofa. Vintage/antique, wavy back, 3 carved feet in front, floral chenille pattern on champagne silk, FIFTY BUCKS. Don't need a sofa? WhateEVER.


• Cool weather.


• Actual hope for overthrowing a republican congress.


• Children mooing.
