Last night's movie was Lone Star. Since I've purposely not researched any of the movies on the list I had no idea what to expect and was surprised when, from the cover, it looked like a western or something. It was actually a really delightfully straightforward human story delivered in intertwining bits that made it both fascinating and fun to follow. I'll resist the spoiler for this one because, even though you kinda see it coming a mile away, the way the characters handle the conclusion of their personal saga is unexpected and strangely warming. It feels like an authentic way of handling the information even though it flies in the face of everything you're shown could/should happen in that situation. Enough mystery? Go see it! Great soundtrack too though the video we had was annoyingly loud during the music so we had to keep raising and lowering the volume. Oh yeah and Elizabeth Pena and Matthew McConaughey are hawt.
